TOA OIL engages in contract refining on the basis of a crude oil contract refining agreement with Showa
Shell Sekiyu K.K. Specifically, TOA OIL receives crude oil and feedstock from Showa Shell Sekiyu, processes
them into various oil products, and delivers the finished products to Showa Shell Sekiyu. Showa Shell Sekiyu sells
the finished products to consumers, and TOA OIL receives processing charges (for refining costs).
We also supply fuel and other resources for GENEX Co., Ltd., which is in IPP business. |
GENEX Co., Ltd., a consolidated subsidiary of the TOA OIL Group, engages in the independent
power producer (IPP) business on the basis of a power purchase agreement with Tokyo Electric Power Co., Inc.
Specifically, TOA OIL supplies fuel to GENEX, and GENEX generates electric power and supplies it to Tokyo
Electric Power Co.
In addition, GENEX Co., Ltd. provides us electricity and steam necessary for oil refinery. |
